Type of Work: Weather App is an interactive front-end website built to display current weather conditions and forecasts, developed using core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with integration of the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch real-time and accurate weather data. The site is designed for anyone who wants a quick, easy way to check the weather in their city or any city around the world. Key Features: - City-based weather search, displaying current weather data instantly upon entering a city name. - Automatic geolocation detection, showing weather conditions for the user's current location without manual search. - Multi-day weather forecast, allowing users to plan ahead by viewing upcoming weather conditions. Implementation Method: The site was built using a classic front-end architecture: content structure handled with HTML, styling and visual design managed through CSS to ensure a consistent and user-friendly appearance, while JavaScript fully powers the dynamic functionality, from calling the OpenWeatherMap API through Fetch/Async requests, to processing the returned JSON data, to rendering it on the interface in real time. The browser's built-in Geolocation API was also used to detect the user's coordinates and automatically retrieve weather data for their current location. The site follows a responsive design approach to ensure a smooth experience across different screen sizes.
