Service Dependency Verifier for Campus Networks

Developed a network service-verification platform that checks whether critical campus services continue working correctly after network configuration changes. The project verifies DHCP relay, DNS resolution, inter-VLAN routing, ACL policies, NAT/PAT translation, and end-to-end application connectivity. Main Features: Automated dependency verification between network services. End-to-end connectivity testing across VLANs and edge services. Failure classification for DNS, ACL, NAT, routing, and DHCP relay issues. Before/after configuration comparison for network changes. Dependency graph generation to identify the root cause of outages. Real-time testing using ping, traceroute, curl, tcpdump, and automated Python scripts. Tools & Technologies: Python, Linux Namespaces, dnsmasq, Packet Tracer, GNS3,tcpdump, DHCP/DNS test services.
